Homestay accomodation i.e. living with a New Zealand family
is the preferred accommodation choice for the majority of
our students. International students have their own room in
a home where they join in family life and have the opportunity
to practise the English they have learnt at school. Families
come in different shapes and sizes; they may be an older couple
whose adoult children have left home; a young couple with
small children, a single parent raising children or a couple
with no children.
In homestay you will be provided with two meals a day Monday
to Friday and three meals a day in the weekends You are expected
to join in with the family and help around the house, the
sam as any family member. |
